One-to-one therapy allows you to consider what is troubling or important to you in ways that help bring about insight, well-being and change.
A Brief Outline.
We all encounter challenges and difficulties at some points in our lives. Often these occur at times of change, uncertainty, isolation or stress. They may relate to a specific event or situation (past or present), or issues connected with:
- sexuality or sexual orientation
- low-moods and motivation
Individual therapy enables you to speak about and reflect upon your concerns, in a confidential, non-judgemental and interactive environment. This helps you to:
- improve relationships
- consider issues in ways that increase understanding of them
- identify strategies for change
- promote mental and emotional well-being
- aid decision-making
- build confidence
- transform past or current difficulties
- prepare for the future
I provide short and longer-term therapy for adults, children and young people. Sessions last for 50 minutes and typically take place on a weekly basis.
